Mechanical Principles

The principle pf cross wedge rolling is the continuous local deformation of cylindrical billets between the dies of two rolls.
The rolled workpiece has the same shape as the bottom groove of the die which is installed on the rolls of the mill , and rotates in the same direction under the driving of the rolls, driving the circular billet to rotate in the opposite direction.
The billet is radially compressed and deformed in the wedge, so that the shape of the rolled workpiece is the same as that of the bottom groove of the mold
